Welcome to Drug Free Charlotte County

Drug Free Charlotte County, established in 2000, serves the Charlotte County region of Southwest Florida, encompassing Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Englewood. We are a cohesive, collaborative coalition, consisting of: Youth • Parents • Schools • Law Enforcement • Business Community • Media • Youth-Servicing Organizations • Retailers • Faith-Based Community • Civic and Volunteer Groups • Health-Care Professionals • Government Agencies • Chamber(s) of Commerce • and other organizations involved in reducing substance abuse.

Our success is due to the diverse community partnerships from across Charlotte County, along with Drug Free staff, who have united together to take back our community from drugs and alcohol.

Our message, consistently conveyed to our community is that "Most teens in Charlotte County are making good choices; most of our students don't need alcohol or drugs to have a good time."

Drug Free Charlotte welcomes all volunteers — adults and youth — come join us in preventing substance abuse in Charlotte County.
